About Agarwood
Agarwood, also known as eaglewood, aloe wood, or oud, is a fragrant dark resinous wood obtained from the Aquilaria tree, particularly when infected by a type of mold. This resinous wood is highly valued for its unique and intense aroma, making it a sought-after ingredient in incense, perfumes, and traditional medicine. The resinous wood is highly aromatic, with a complex and distinctive scent that is prized in perfumery and incense.
INFECTION: Agarwood forms when the Aquilaria tree is infected by a specific type of mold, often Phaeoacremonium parasitica. The tree responds by producing a dark, resinous heartwood, which is the agarwood.

Our Plantation & Distillation Unit
We have a plantation of Agarwood and also a distilling unit. Maintaining an aragwood plantation is not a carefree job and has much complexity. Climate: Agaroud trees thrive in warm, humid, tropical climates with high rainfall. Soil: Well-drained, sandy loam soil rich in organic matter is ideal. Sunlight: Agarwood trees are sun-loving and require ample sunlight for proper growth. Maintenance: Regular watering, fertilisation and pruning are essential for healthy growth. No wonder agarwood oil is the most expensive oil in perfumery.

Oil for Perfume Makers
Agar wood oil, which also known by names such as Oud or Dehen Al Oil, is one of the most expensive natural fragrance oil.
Varieties of Agar Wood
Agarwood is not all the same. Different regions of North East India produce slightly different flavours. Then there are different parts of the Agar wood tree which produce a similar yet a slightly different fragrance.
